Curriculum Overview
Palm Tree Academy aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to help them grow culturally and academically.
Islamic Studies
Our religion is a guide to life and how we handle life situations. We teach Islamic stories/history, beliefs, and mannerisms of a Muslim.
STEAM
Our program offers students opportunities to build on knowledge and skills that show how academic learning is connected using science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Academics
Our academic program is unique in that classes are subject-focused rather than the traditional elementary self-contained classroom. Students at PTA rotate to their respective subject classroom for ELAR, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Pre-K students are in a self-contained classroom.
Qur’anic Studies
Prayer and learning to read, understand, and memorize Qur’an is a key component of student life at school. Students who start from KG and remain with PTA will be able to read and memorize Juz ‘Amma of the Qur’an. Insha’Allah
Arabic Language
Learning the language of the Qur’an to be able to read and understand it.
Service Learning
Some activities include food/clothing/shoe drives for the community, and income-generating activities for the school.
